Welcome
Beaver Scouts are young people usually aged between six and eight years old.
They belong to the first and youngest Section in the Scouting family. Young people can join Beaver Scouts in the three months leading up to their sixth birthday. They can move to the next Section, Cub Scouts, between eight and eight years six months.

- District Centenary Camp 2011
Last week end we celebrated the 100th birthday of Ware and District Scouts in style. Over 700 members of our District camped at Woodhall Park.
- Beavers Handicraft Competition 2011
Saturday 26th March saw the Beaver Handicraft Competition at Chauncy School
- Happy Birthday Ware and District
On Thursday March 16th 1911 at 7.30pm a small group of people gathered together in the Mission hall in Ware. They had arranged to meet with Percy Everett with the view of forming the Ware and District Boy Scout Association.
- 25th Anniversary Beaver Sleepover
2011 is full of special birthdays. Ware and District is 100 years old and nationally Beaver Scouts are celebrating 25 years.
To mark this event we had an extra special 25th birthday sleepover weekend.
- Badge Competition
The year 2011 is Ware and District's Centenary, this
means that scouting has been in Ware and District
for 100 years.
We want you to be a part of it by entering our badge
competition.
